Holding a degree in Social Science (Human Services) and Innovation (Honours), Angelika has complemented their academic background with practical experience, including participation in the South Australian Parliamentary Internship and volunteer work with the Community Visitor Scheme. Angelika is also a registered member of the Association of Community Work Australia and the Golden Key International Honours Society, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence and ethical practice.

Passionate about empowering individuals, Karen helps participants navigate their NDIS plans, secure the right supports, and achieve their personal goals while effectively managing their funding.

Her career began in a disability day options program, later expanding into Supported Independent Living, where she progressed to a Team Leader role in Port Augusta. Drawing from both professional expertise and personal experience with family members who have disabilities, Karen is deeply committed to a person-centered approach—recognizing that every individual’s needs are unique.

One of Karen’s proudest achievements was securing an eye gaze machine for a nonverbal child, enabling them to communicate with their family, peers, and community. This moment reinforced her passion for ensuring participants have a voice, choice, and control over their lives.

Having relocated abroad independently at a young age, Aslynn gained deep insight into the emotional terrain of transition, uncertainty, and feeling unheard—an experience that continues to fuel her compassionate engagement with individuals navigating adversity. Her practice reflects an unwavering commitment to dignity, inclusion, and self-determination.

Aslynn has supported students in building career-related knowledge and skills and is particularly passionate about ensuring individuals with disabilities have equitable access to resources, opportunities, and environments that foster autonomy and wellbeing. Her diverse background in administrative roles, community volunteering, and aged care visiting informs a relational style grounded in trust, care, and effective communication.

Vanessa is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience across early learning education, counselling, youth work, psychological science, sociology, disability services, public relations, coordination, and management. Her diverse background brings a unique blend of expertise to empower individuals and foster inclusive communities.

Vanessa’s career is defined by a commitment to social support for those facing vulnerability and disadvantage. Guided by values of honesty, inclusiveness, integrity, and collaboration, she has contributed to initiatives such as the Empowering Minds Initiative: Making a Difference Together. Her work spans community outreach, mentoring, multicultural services, and psychosocial recovery, aligning with the principles of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Recognised for her contributions, Vanessa received the Community Service Award (Playford, 2023) and was honored as a Bespoke Woman for International Women’s Day (2024). She has also been nominated for the Playford Citizen Award (2023), Allied Health Early Career Excellence Award (2024), and Women Changing the World Award (2024).
